A Trojan Woman is Sara Farrington's one-woman contemporary retelling of Euripides’ The Trojan Women. Sara's adaption exists in a flash of recognizable modern warfare, as "Irina," a civilian trapped inside any war runs to escape an air strike. When the explosion hits, Euripides' play begins, straddling modern and ancient worlds.

A Trojan Woman was first performed at the Interbalkan Festival of Ancient Drama of the Region of Attica 2023 in Athens July 2-5. The piece was documented by filmmaker Ana Veselic, and performed by Drita Kabashi. 

The production will be featured as part of Luna Stage's 23/24 Season in March of 2024.​​ The tour and subsequent production is being adapted into a documentary film by Ana Veselic.
